Morning Prayers
1. Morning Prayer: adapted from A Prayer Book for Australia (Br Nathan-James ssf)
Cross prayer
I believe in one God creator of heaven and earth,
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ God’s only Son,
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
I believe in the one undivided Holy Trinity.
Invitatory prayer
Rejoice always,
pray without ceasing,
in everything give thanks,
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus.
Cruciform prayer
As I rejoice in the gift of this new day,
so may the light of your presence O God,
set my heart on fire with love for you.
Week prayer
I consecrate this day to your service,
may my thoughts, words and actions, be pleasing to you,
and may I be of service to my brothers and sisters.

The Cross
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Invitatory Bead
As the sun rises to bring light to the earth,
so may your light, O Lord, bring light to my life.
Cruciform Beads
This is the day the Lord has made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Week Beads
We who walk with God turn our face to heaven,
keeping God’s laws,
living a just life.
