This blog has been created to enable people interested in using Anglican Prayer (Rosary) Beads to share thoughts, ideas and comments. Anyone who is interested in this form of contemplative prayer is welcome to participate in this blog.

I first began using the Anglican Rosary about 5 years ago as an aid to meditation and contemplative prayer. Since then I have been facilitating workshops on making and using Anglican Prayer Beads as part of a prayer school lead by brothers of the Society of St Francis. I have facilitated workshops for parish communities, church agencies, youth groups and schools in various States and Territories in Australia, as well as in Aotearoa New Zealand.

It struck me at a recent parish workshop that a lot of valuable insights, reflections and resources are being lost in the never-lands of my computer and home filing system. As well, the valuable contributions of workshop participants are similarly being lost for lack of space to collect and disseminate them; hence this blog.

It is my hope that this blog will provide opportunity for people who are interested in the use of Anglican Prayer Beads, either through participation in one of the prayer school workshops or through other interest, will find this a place to share their thoughts and experiences of making and using Anglican Rosaries.

If you would like to contribute to this project please feel free to email Br Nathan-James.
